Paul certainly lauded the Lord! In chapter one, you will find his expression of love and admiration for God and his son, Jesus Christ. He also tells the people how he longs to be with them and prays for them. That desire for Loud adoration of the gospel!

My question for myself and you is, do we have that desire to get out there and laud the lord? To be honest, I find great comfort in my house, not dealing with anyone. I am getting older and have experienced my share of drama with friends, family, and strangers. I just want a drama-free zone. In the same breath, I realize that is not what God wants for us. Why else would he say forsake not the assembling of ourselves together (Hebrews 10:25)? Truth be told, anytime you put a crowd of people, there will arise misunderstandings. This may be a result of differences in opinions or sometimes a fabrication of our own minds! I know what you are thinking the scripture is talking about the church where unity should reign. My husband’s explanation is that we are all just a bunch of broken people trying to connect to other broken people.

Recently, I taught a small-group class, and I was so nervous that I felt like I rambled uncontrollably during the first class. A young lady was in attendance when I offered a text thread of scriptures and encouragement on the subject; she opted out, after which she did not attend. I said in my heart, trying not to get stuck in my head, “That’s Okay, we all have a right to attend whichever class we desire, and maybe after the first class, she realized she needed something else.” Days went by, and I kept thinking I said something offensive in my rambling. Later When I got the opportunity to speak with her, I learned neither explanation was correct. The reality of the whole thing was that she got sick, then her husband got sick, and she took care of him. Just one thing after another prevented her. I dropped the ball by not checking on her (see what I am saying when I say many times it is just a fabrication of our own mind).

Do not listen to the lies of the enemy who would close you off from the world, whatever those lies are! Tell the world loudly and proudly of the Love God has shown you!

I want to declare here my heavenly Father, He is a good father, and He adopted me into his family. He wants to adopt you, too. He loves you so much. I still doubt myself, but I can never doubt him again. I was a Peter who turned back, then my loving heavenly father helped me find my way back home! He gives us beauty for ashes! Thank God because I really burned it down. People are people, but God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His Love never fails!!! Come, let us Laud HIM, not people.
